METZThey were just announced as a part of Perth's mammoth Slanted and Enchanted event and now we can confirm there are two more Australian dates for Canada's METZ planned while they are out here.
The release of the band's noisy debut LP made plenty of people sit up and take notice, their driving brand of loud and discordant indie rock is awfully powerful and recalls the likes of Shellac, Pixies and even a little PiL at times.
We're led to believe their live shows are pretty fantastic and after listening to the aforementioned eponymous LP, we have not taken a lot of convincing that this is the case.
They play dates in Sydney and Melbourne as well as the previously announced Perth show, details are in theGuide below.
