Three albums soar into the top 10.
It seems Aussie fans of Tool have been itching for the band’s music to hit streaming services, as evident via the latest ARIA Albums chart results.
A week after several of their previous albums were made available via streaming services, the band’s second record, 1996’s Ænima, re-entered the Albums chart at #6, closely followed by Lateralus (#8) and 10,000 Days (#9), while Undertow hit #21 and their 1992 EP Opiate made its first-ever appearance at #43.
Tool’s domination of the Albums chart arrives ahead of their long-awaited fifth studio album, Fear Inoculum, with the band dropping its title track last week ahead of an August 30 release.
Fear Inoculum marks Tool’s first album since 10,000 Days, which dropped in 2006, so it’s safe to assume that it’ll score a high debut upon release later this month.
