Todd Rundgren has announced a tour of Australia for 2025 with special guest Davey Lane (You Am I) coming along for the ride.
Rundgren’s 2025 Australian tour comes after his three sold-out nights across the East Coast in February this year. For his run next year, he’ll perform for six nights in March.
The tour begins at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on Thursday, 6 March, followed by Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Friday, 7 March, Castlemaine’s Theatre Royal on Saturday, 8 March, Brisbane’s The Triffid on Thursday, 13 March, Sydney’s Factory Theatre on Friday, 14 March, and ending at The Lounge, Chatswood, on Saturday, 15 March.

Rundgren is best known for tracks like Hello, It’s Me, Can We Still Be Friends, and I Saw The Light, as well as his work with bands like Nazz, Utopia and Ringo Starr's All Starr Band. Rundgren also worked as a producer on iconic albums like New York Dolls’ debut, self-titled work and Meatloaf’s Bat Out Of Hell.
A pioneer of progressive rock and electronic music, Rundgren has long held a keen interest in technology, releasing the first-ever interactive album, No World Order, in 1994. Rundgren was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2021.

His upcoming tour follows the release of his record Space Force, which dropped in 2022. Rundgren’s 27th solo album contains special guests such as Davey Lane, Crowded House’s Neil Finn, Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo, Sparks, The Roots, The Lemon Twigs, and Steve Vai.
