Big things happening for the 'Freaks' hit-maker atm
Local EDM star Timmy Trumpet has put pen to paper on an international deal with Universal Music Publishing Australia.
The beat-maker and trumpet-player joins a roster that includes recent APRA winner M-Phazes, hip hop favourite 360, prog-rockers Dead Letter Circus, pop siblings The Veronicas and Canberra dance duo The Aston Shuffle.
The deal will see Trumpet's tunes taken global, taking advantage of success he's already had both here and overseas, including an impressive turn on the Netherlands charts earlier this month. The artist also recently signed a deal with prominent US EDM label Casablanca Records, along with his Freaks collaborator, New Zealand rapper Savage.
Heath Johns, Director Of A&R for Universal said Trumpet was "a force to be reckoned with" and the company was "thrilled" to add him to their roster.
