Timbaland, Nelly Furtado, and Justin Timberlake have reunited for a banger of a new track titled Keep Going Up.

The tune kicks off with some major 2000s vibes, beginning with a callback to Nelly's iconic 2006 hit, Promiscuous.

"How you doing young lady/does the feeling still drive you crazy?" Timbo asks before Nelly lays down her first verse, singing:

I been workin' on my gains lately
I been lovin' myself on the daily
Had to cut some people off, they were drainin'
'’m no longer settlin', I'm upgradin'

Meanwhile, JT jumps in to flex his hypnotic high register through rich layers of production.

These trio first joined forces on the 2007’s Give It To Me, which hit #1 on the Billboard 200. It also graced Timbaland’s 2007 platinum-certified Shock Value.

The latest track also marks Timbaland’s first official solo single in over eight years and his artist debut under the partnership between his own Mosley Music Group and Def Jam Recordings.

Speaking to ET about the exciting release, the producer said: "I don't know what it was, but this song is special. I hope it stays up to everything that the people want. If people want the 2006 back, I think we did it justice."

"I think we gave it a song with meaning. Meaning, it can relate to you or your friends. 'I keep going up, if you keep going up.' Like no matter what you go through, Imma be here for you. You know what I'm saying? And that's what that song is. It has all different meanings, and you still dance to it. You still jam to it. That's why this song is one of the best of my lifetime. It feels like We Are The World."

Timbs also dropped the bombshell that a joint album is in the works.

"This [Keep Going Up] sets you up for everything JT and Nelly about to do," he teased. "I went to Justin doing a rehearsal, I said, 'A fan said we should do album.' He's like, 'You know what, we should.' And that's in the works."

He added: "This song will age just as well as my other songs aged. I want to create just a little window of nostalgia for this generation just to understand what greatness is. I feel like Keep Going Up is the song that loosens up the party, and make you have a drink."

"This whole song is sparking off something that I think that's gonna be incredible," he added

It’s also the latest in the string of major comebacks for Nelly Furtado, who recently collaborated with Australia’s own Dom Dolla for the dance hit Eat Your Man.

The single came following an epic surprise performance together on New Year’s Eve at Australia’s acclaimed Beyond The Valley festival in 2022 as the duo brought in the New Year performing to 35,000 festival goers.

The festival marked Furtado’s first return to the stage in over five years, catapulting her back to the centre of the cultural conversation, as Dom returned to his hometown and celebrated his biggest year to date.

Since then, the pair have gone on to perform Eat Your Man at multiple live performances, including dropping an epic mashup of Nelly’s 2006 hit Maneater and Benny Benassi’s hit Satisfaction during Dom’s legendary set at Lollapalooza 2023.
