Happening at next weekend's award ceremony.
Two iconic acts will be honoured at this year's National Indigenous Music Awards.
Folk trio Tiddas, who rose to fame in the '90s with albums like Tiddas and the ARIA Award-winning Sing About Life, and singer Wilma Reading, who has toured with Duke Ellington, performed on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and much more in her illustrious career, will be inducted into National Indigenous Music Awards' Hall Of Fame.
This year's awards will be taking place on Saturday 10 August at Darwin’s Amphitheater and will see performances from Reading, as well as Archie Roach, Jessica Mauboy, Dan Sultan, Electric Fields, Tasman Keith Spinifex Gum and many more.
Leading this year's nominations list is Mojo Juju, who appears in four of the NIMAs' six categories following the release of her acclaimed album Native Tongue last year, while Keith has picked up three nominations and Baker Boy, Sultan, Electric Fields and more also appear.
