"We really wanted to bring some energy to the table whilst also keeping Tia’s beautiful vocals soaring over the top."
Tia Gostelow has had her massive track Two Lovers remixed into a raving '90s club banger, courtesy of Gold Coast indie five-piece, Ivey.
The new take on the track takes the tune in a brand new direction, with the band saying that taking on the challenge was as fun as it was creatively interesting.
"We have known Tia a long time and love her with all of our collective hearts! So when she asked us to do a remix of Two Lovers it was a big NO BRAINER!!!!!!" they stated. "We’ve been working very hard on our own new music so taking a step back and being able to work on something like this has been super refreshing and a load of fun."
The group added, "We flipped this tune into a bit of a classic house vibe, we really wanted to bring some energy to the table whilst also keeping Tia’s beautiful vocals soaring over the top. Nothing beats them TIA VOX!!
"We also add a few of our own chops as well, something we’re super drawn to at the moment. Hopefully people can dance in the club - sometime in the not so distant future - to this track."
The collab marks a new chapter for both Gostelow and Ivey, who are leaning into the dance pop vibes with total enthusiasm.

"Over the past two year we as a band have ventured more and more into dance music as a sonic landscape for Ivey," they explained, "so putting together remixes is something we’re starting to get very comfortable with, and something we’d definitely love to do more of in the future! This one is our best yet (well we like to think!) and fusing Tia’s world and our world has been incredibly thrilling to be honest!"
