New music from Queens Of The Stone Age, Shapeshifter, Sleeping With Sirens, Tricky and City & Colour!
Queens Of The Stone Age – …Like Clockwork (Matador/Remote Control)
What a fine cast of collaborators Josh Homme has pulled together! There's Dave Grohl and ex-Mars Volta skinsman Jon Theodore thumping the tubs, Queens alumni Nick Oliveri and Mark Lanegan returning to the fold and guest appearances from Trent Reznor, the Artic Monkeys yowler Alex Turner and, bafflingly enough, Elton John. Does this star-studded lineup deliver the goods? Decide for yourself by scoping out these tracks that were premiered earlier this month.
Tricky – False Idols (False Idols/!K7)
This trip-hop elder put himself on the map with his classic 1995 debut Maxinquaye and claims that this, album #10, is a return to his earlier greatness. Our reviewer reckons it's another compelling and unpredictable outing from a man that refuses to be pigeonholed.

Sleeping With Sirens – Feel (Rise/Warner)
Once at the forefront of the post-hardcore revival, these young gents have come back with a new album that flirts heavily with catchy pop anthems and heartfelt ballads; they're great tunes but it's a sound that might have fans of their old stuff hatin'.
City & Colour – The Hurry And The Harm (Dine Alone/Caroline)
The former Alexisonfire singer makes delivers another strong solo effort, stretching out on songs that range from uptempo to introspective while backed up by members of The Dead Weather and My Morning Jacket.
Hailer – Another Way (Independent)
This second effort from the pop-inflected Sydney psych-rockers gets a whole lot right, delivering a swag of catchy tunes with a healthy dose of attitude.
Jon Hopkins – Immunity (Domino/EMI)
It's business as usual, albeit a little more dance-driven, for the cinematic electronica producer on this fourth album.
