Dead Letter Circus - The Catalyst Fire (UNFD)

Chances are you've probably heard the second full-length from the Brissy prog rockers as we've been streaming it on theMusic for the last week. Kim Benzie also explained the meaning behind the record. "The Catalyst Fire is about that yearning for change that's within everyone. It's about an idea spreading like a fire – that spreading of change."

Washed Out - Paracosm (Pod/Inertia)

Ernest Greene, aka Washed Out has delivered his second effort and it's another collection of tracks that are perfect for those lazy days. Paracosm takes him past the "chillwave" sub-genre and into a musical realm of escapism that is honest and surreal.

Cloud Control - Dream Cave (Ivy League/Liberation)

This is the first Cloud Control release since the band relocated to east London and it's a different ball game to their 2010 debut Bliss Release. There's a bit of everything on Dream Cave, from their classic indie, to dancehall and even some surf rock. A bold move from the four-piece but fans will no doubt embrace it.
