New albums from Noel Gallagher, San Cisco, Ghostpoet and more
San Cisco — Gracetown (Island City Recordings)
The second album from the Perth indie outfit proves they have a "devoted understanding and love of pop music", according to reviewer Cam Findlay. The LP went on a vastly different recording journey to their first, which San Cisco explained to us in a recent interview. Gracetown is our current Album Of The Week.
Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds — Chasing Yesterday (Warner)
"There's a comfort in the familiarity" of Noel Gallagher's new record, says The Music's Sevana Ohandjanian, but that means there are times style overrides substance on the LP. Still, fans will lap this one up. We wonder if Gallagher's new 'favourite' band, DMA's will give it a listen?

Catlips — Casual (Pilerats Records)
Any hype that Catlips signing to Pilerats generated is justified by her debut EP, says The Music's Kane Sutton. "Each track has its own distinct flavour," observed Sutton, with the release nabbing an impressive four star rating.
Ghostpoet — Shedding Skin ([PIAS] Australia)
Stepping slightly away from the dark and into some serious light is Ghostpoet on studio album number three. This new side of the British vocalist and musician is "a revolution" according to reviewer Christopher H James and we're already keen to see what's next.
