For the last six years Aussie music event THIS THAT has been a staple of the summer festival season however it will be shaking things up in 2021.

It has been confirmed today that the festival will now take place in February rather than November and will now be going ahead in two locations on separate dates - its usual home in Newcastle (20 February) and a debut event in Queensland (13 February).

"THIS THAT are currently working with Federal, State and Local Government authorities on an all-encompassing health and safety plan, including advice around ongoing COVID safe protocols," a statement released today reads.

"Newcastle's favourite one-day party is on, alongside their new sister venue at Sandstone Point. Time to start planning that outfit and remember how ridiculously good it feels to be with mates at a festival once again."

THIS THAT has previously boasted some hugely impressive line-ups, including massive acts like RÜFÜS DU SOL, Amy Shark, Alison Wonderland and Peking Duk.
