Thelma Plum has announced rescheduled dates for her Homecoming Queen national tour. 

Kira Puru and Molly Millington will join Plum as special guests for shows throughout the run.

"My team and I have been working really hard and it’s FINALLY happening!!" said Plum of the tour.  

"I am so damn excited to bring the Homecoming Queen shows on the road – I’ve been looking forward to this tour for what seems like forever! 

I’m super lucky that my friends Kira Puru and Molly Millington are coming along for the ride as well.”

The tour was originally due to run in May 2020 but was postponed due to COVID-19 restrictions. The new run will kick off at the Armitage Centre in Toowoomba on 20 May 2021 and then head to Margaret River, Fremantle, Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Torquay, Newcastle, Canberra, Thirroul, Adelaide and Tweed Heads.

Tickets already purchased will remain valid, with some shows split into early and late events. Ticketholders will be contacted directly via their purchase point. 

Plum released her debut studio album, Better In Blak, in July 2019, which recently saw her take out the prestigious Vanda & Young Global Songwriting Competition seeing her awarded $50,000 for the album's lead single of the same name. 

“I am so honoured that Better In Blak has won the Vanda & Young Global Songwriting Competition, I can’t even really describe it," said Plum at the time. 

"My heartfelt thanks to Alex Burnett and Oli Horton for their creativity and to everyone who connected to a song that is deeply personal, written when I was feeling very alone.

"I don't feel alone today. 

"Vanda & Young was kind to me early in my career when I received a runner-up prize for Breathe In Breathe Out, I could never have imagined then that one day I would win!"
