'English Graffiti' will be available from late May
British-bred hitmakers The Vaccines have announced the release details for their eagerly awaited third studio album, English Graffiti.
The album, which follows 2012's sophomore effort Come Of Age, will be released via Columbia Records/Sony Music Australia on Friday, 22 May. It was recorded over the US winter last year in upstate New York with assistance from renowned producer Dave Fridmann, a previous collaborator of acts such as Flaming Lips, Tame Impala and MGMT, as well as contemporary Cole MGN (Ariel Pink, Beck, Nite Jewel).
The album sports 14 tracks — 18 if you count the closing four "reimagined" versions of earlier songs on the record — and is available for pre-order via iTunes and JB Hi-Fi now. We've already had our first taste of the new work in the form of lead single Handsome, which dropped back in January and started building hype for the new release months ahead of its realisation. You can check out the clip below.
The album's full track list and accompanying art work are included below. The Vaccines are about to head out on tour around the UK; keep your eyes peeled for any hint that they might be swinging past our way as they move to support the forthcoming release.
