Regurgitator are hitting the Eaton’s Hill Hotel in Brisbane this Saturday in celebration of their beloved 1997 record, Unit, as well as an assortment of other hits across their catalogue.
From 1 pm until 11:50 pm, the mini-festival finds several great bands performing across two stages with no clashes, and now, we have the timetable so you can plan your day.
Soy Division kick things off at 1:30 until 2 pm at the indoor stage, with Glitoris kicking off immediately after outdoors for another half-hour set. From there, Cheap Date, Screamfeeder and Platonic Sex embark on 30-minute sets until 4 pm.
At that point, Butterfingers host the outdoor stage for 40 minutes, with The Stress Of Leisure taking the indoor stage for the same amount of time.
Models get the evening crowd warmed up outdoors from 5:10 until 5:55 pm, followed by Mitch, Please straight after until 6:25 pm, then Custard at 6:25 until 7:10 pm. Flangipanis perform a short set afterwards from 7:10 until 7:40 pm at the indoor stage.
DZ Deathrays will then wreak havoc on the outdoor stage from 7:40 to 8:25, and then the mighty headliners, Regurgitator perform from 8:45 until 10 pm, playing Unit in its entirety, and more.
Cable Ties keep the party going inside for 45 minutes following Regurgitator’s set, with Resin Dogs closing the night from 11:05 until 11:50 pm. What a day of music!
Unit was recorded in an abandoned Fortitude Valley warehouse as demolishers waited outside.
Regurgitator's second album debuted at #5 on the ARIA Albums Chart, is certified triple Platinum in Australia and won a total of five categories at the 1998 ARIA awards, including Best Alternative Album.
The album contains their hit singles, ! (The Song Formerly Known As), Everyday Formula, Polyester Girl and Black Bugs - all making the Triple J Hottest 100 in 1998 at #6, #10, #26 and #32, respectively.
In addition, their top streamed track, ! (The Song Formerly Known As) was nominated for the 1998 ARIA Award for Single Of The Year and Best Video.
