The Temper Trap are set to stamp their comeback this week by taking out top spot on the ARIA Albums Chart with their third LP, Thick As Thieves.
The Melbourne outfit are aiming for a top three finish and are the favourites to take out the #1 spot, following on from their 2012 self-titled album which also peaked at the top of the chart.

The only other album likely to debut in the top ten this week is the sixth LP from veteran alt-rock band Garbage, Strange Little Birds.

Rounding out the debuts are Dope Lemon's Honey Bones, Nick Jonas' Last Year Was Complicated, Letlive's If I'm The Devil..., Band Of Horses' Why Are You OK, Paul McCartney compilation album, Pure McCartney, Tom Odell's Wrong Crowd, Ngaiire's Blastoma and Play School's 50 Best Songs.
On the Singles Chart, US singer Meghan Trainor is set to shake up the top three which has been dominated in recent weeks by Drake, Calvin Harris and Justin Timberlake with her hit song Me Too.
Expect to also hear new tracks from Aussie duo The Veronicas with In My Blood, Imany's Don't Be So Shy, Usher's Crash and Fifth Harmony's All In My Head, featuring Fetty Wap.
