The Stray Sisters Confirm National Tour Dates

The former members of The Waifs will embark on their first run of national shows

The names Donna Simpson and Vikki Thorn probably sound familiar to fans of The Waifs, with the girls previously making up two thirds of the acclaimed. Now, the pair have emerged as duo The Stray Sisters.

As they rediscover their love for song and performance together, the two are embarking on a national tour over the coming months. This will be The Stray Sister's first official national tour and they'll be playing in intimate venues that would have previously suited the very early days of The Waifs, such as The Basement and Tilley's.

Joining them on tour will be Waifs' bassist Ben Franz, who will accompany them in performing both new material and some reworked Waifs' classics in their setlist, satisfying both new and old followers of the sisters. The pair will also be supporting pals The John Bulter Trio for some outdoor shows in WA during the run.

The ladies were previously confirmed for the Blue Mountains Music Festival.
