The Smith Street Band Unveil Hometown Gig To End Tour

An epic tour finale.

More The Smith Street Band The Smith Street Band

The Smith Street Band’s epic national tour is slowly drawing to a close and celebrate the 33-show stint, they’ve unveiled one final hometown gig for next week.

The Melbourne rockers kicked things off back in March with their Pool House Party series before circling the country with Bec Sandridge and Press Club, who will join them at the newly announced Croxton Bandroom show on May 18.

After they wrap the tour, The Smith Street Band will be working on new music and their own studio, as frontman Wil Wagner told The Music earlier this year.

“That's sort of our main priority over the next little while is we're going to build a studio here and then Smith Street will record here in the middle of the year,” Wagner said.

“That'll be done around the start of winter, and then we'll start looking for more bands to come out here and work here.”

Tickets for the new show go on sale tomorrow, May 9, at 9am. Check out theGuide for more the details.
