The Scientists Of Modern Music Announce New Album

A Personal Universe will be released mid-May.

Electro-synth duo The Scientists of Modern Music will release their second album A Personal Universe on Friday 18 May.

The album will mark a slightly different direction for the Hobart duo from their debut Electronic Sunset, which had a distinct electronic sound. Of the new musical direction, band member Cal Young said, “This was new to us, and the songs took longer to make but we had the freedom to experiment and use a huge range of different instruments.”

The album will also feature some collaborations with vocalist Kesta Krohn and members of the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. The band is hoping to do some live shows once the album is released.
