Promoter urges fans to wait for new dates
The Rolling Stones' local promoters Frontier Touring have begun offering refunds on tickets for the postponed tour, all the while urging punters to wait for re-scheduled dates.
After confirming that the tour would not be going ahead as planned earlier this morning due to the passing of Mick Jagger's partner L'Wren Scott, Frontier have issued a statement this afternoon saying that new dates are “being presently worked on” and “will be announced as soon as possible”.
“In the meantime we ask ticket holders to hold on to their tickets until the new dates are announced. If the new dates are not suitable rest assured you will be able to secure a refund.
"Please note for ticket holders wishing an immediate refund, this option is now available to you via the ticketing agency you purchased from.”
