The video game rockers will be making another Sydney stop on their first tour of Australia
Nashville's entertaining “Nintendocore” rockers The Protomen have added another Aussie show to their short list of dates, as they complete their first ever run of shows Down Under, snatching the headlining spot for The Bird's Robe Collective-presented Featherfest.
This show may be one of the only chances fans get to see the act on this tour, as this coming weekend's sets at Melbourne's PAX are completely sold out and they've only one other NSW show scheduled at The Standard in Sydney.
Featherfest began in 2009, and with a touring commitment break last year, the event will return to the Annandale late this month, fresh with a lineup including local acts Shanghai, Godswounds, Melbourne's Toehider and US comedy hip hop outfit MC Frontalot, as The Protomen complete the night's proceedings.
The Protomen are known for recording concept records loosely based off the Mega Men video game, and with their theatrical and energetic live show, the rock band have established a large cult and online following, playing shows worldwide.
