UK band cancelled this morning

The Presets have been drafted in to replace London Grammar on the Splendour In The Grass line-up.

Announced this morning, London Grammar pulled out citing illness. Vocalist Hannah Reid is believed to be suffering from fatigue.

Indie-dance duo The Presets, who played the festival last year, will now fill their headlining slot this Friday at Byron Bay.

Fellow British Splendour headliners Two Door Cinema Club pulled out earlier this month, with City & Colour promoted to a headline spot and Foals added to the bill.

Splendour are offering refunds for Friday single-day tickets from here. Refunds will be available until 5pm Wednesday 23 July, only.

In a statement today Splendour In The Grass promoters Paul Piticco and Jessica Ducrou said, "We're sorry to report that Hannah from London Grammar has been taken ill, after cancelling T In The Park we hoped she would recover in time for Splendour but unfortunately has not.

"It’s been quite a challenge finding a suitable replacement at such short notice but we are pleased to announce The Presets have come to the rescue and will play at Splendour this Friday.

"Whilst beyond our control we are personally very disappointed with the last minute line-up changes but we are thankful for the support from Foals and The Presets stepping up in lightening speed. Here's to a great show!"

Meanwhile London Grammar have rescheduled their sideshows to well into the future:

Sydney, Hordern Pavilion - Thursday 12 March 2015
Melbourne, Festival Hall - Saturday 14 March 2015

Existing tickets will be valid for the new shows, with refunds available from 5pm Monday 22 September 2014.
