The Outdoor TypeJust a little over a year since forming, Melbourne’s The Outdoor Type are kicking goals in every direction, topping off an already hectic month by inking an international deal with indie heavyweight Nettwerk Records.
The project of indie rocker Zack Buchanan signed a bookings deal with New World Artists this month and were this week confirmed as part of the massive BIGSOUND line-up, all leading up to the release of a follow-up EP (details TBA) to last year’s self-titled effort.
The Outdoor Type join fellow Aussies Boy & Bear, Xavier Rudd The Paper Kites and last October’s signing, Cub Sport on Nettwerk Records.
To mark the occasion, a clip for single On My Mind has been released with a promise of “lots of exciting things in the pipeline”.
