AND THERE'LL BE BEERS FOR 99 CENTS AT ALL THREE, WE ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE TO KIDDING
R&B/garage rockers The Murlocs have sold out two shows in their home town of Melbourne and have announced a third on their national Young Blindness tour, which kicked off last night in Adelaide.
The tight-knit quintet continue their jaunt in Perth tonight at the Rosemount Hotel in support of their sophomore album Young Blindness, released last month.
Demand to witness the band's distorted licks and singer Ambrose Kenny-Smith's soaring vocals in action is clearly high, with both initial Melbourne shows at the Tote and Curtin Bandroom having reached the sold-out status. Melbourne fans who missed out can rest assured, however, as a second Curtin show on April 10 has just been confirmed.
To mark the album's launch, the three Melbourne shows will also boast a special offer of 99¢ beers all night.
