Singer-songwriter Brad Ellis, aka The Hunter Express, is ready to double down with not one, but two new singles.
Ellis released both I Really Like Holding Your Hand and Cool this week and to celebrate he's playing a launch gig at Newmarket Studios, where the tracks were recorded with Callum Barter (Courtney Barnett, Kurt Vile). The gig takes place Thursday, 19 Oct with support from Jess De Luca as well as a visual display from artist Lauren O'Meara.
Both singles are lifted from his upcoming debut album, which features collaborations with artists like Jarrad Brown (Dorsal Fins), Olaf Scott (Saskwatch) and Fraser A Gorman and shows a colossal leap forward in Ellis' creative direction and maturity.
