"It’s not appropriate to have loud buskers near the Myer Christmas Windows..."
Loud buskers have been told to stay away from Myer Christmas Windows when performing in Melbourne's CBD.
According to Herald Sun, Lord Mayor Robert Doyle said it was "not appropriate" for musicians to perform near the store while people enjoy the displays.
The news follows the completion of a three-month trial which banned any "amplified performances" on Swanston Street.

Herald Sun have reported that of the 123 responses received by the City Of Melbourne, just 35 called for the ban to continue.
Though the issue is still being discussed, Doyle has suggested that amplified performances should not be banned, but closely monitored.
"I think we need to better monitor compliance than ban outright," Doyle said.
"That goes for Bourke St Mall as well. It’s not appropriate to have loud buskers near the Myer Christmas Windows when people are trying to enjoy the story there."
The Music has contacted City Of Melbourne for comment.
