Once again, a group of Australian artists will be heading for the California desert in April 2026, with the renowned American festival Coachella dropping its line-up today.

Punk rockers The Chats, girl EDM star Ninajirachi, indie rock duo Royel Otis and punk singer Ecca Vandal feature on the line-up, sharing the bill with headliners Sabrina Carpenter, Royel Otis, and Karol G. Plus, producer Anyma will present his show Eden. Punters will also be able to experience the immersive Kid A Mnesia “bunker,” programmed by Radiohead.

The Chats made their Coachella debut in 2022, while Ninajirachi, Royel Otis, and Ecca Vandal will make their debuts on the stages across the festival next year.

In addition to the headliners and Aussies, Coachella 2026 features a diverse range of artists, including The xx, Nine Inch Noize (a collaboration between Nine Inch Nails and Boys Noize), David Byrne, Interpol, The Strokes, Addison Rae, Young Thug, Clipse, Wet Leg, Iggy Pop, FKA twigs, Turnstile, PinkPantheress, Moby, Foster The People, Devo, Groove Armada, sombr, Alex G, and stacks more. Passes for the 2026 festival will be available on Friday, 19 September, at 11 am PT (4 am AEST on Saturday for Aussies). You can find more ticketing information on the Coachella website.

Announced months earlier than usual, Coachella line-ups usually drop in November or December before taking over the weekends of 10-12 April and 17-19 April in the California desert.

Artists including SPEED, Amyl And The Sniffers, Glass Beams, HAAi, and Parcels, represented Australia on this year’s bill. This year’s line-up was headlined by Lady Gaga, Green Day, Post Malone, and Travis Scott.

Previous years have included Australian artists such as Dom Dolla, Flight Facilities, The Kid LAROI, FISHER, Hiatus Kaiyote, Alison Wonderland’s project Whyte Fang, The Avalanches, Logic1000, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Flume, Sampa The Great, Skegss, Hayden James and more.
