Bird In Paradise arrives as the tenth studio album from The Cat Empire, and their first since 2023's Where The Angels Fall, which was in turn their first since a noted lineup shift. Having announced that longtime core members would be departing with Felix Riebl and Ollie McGill continuing to perform with a fresh roster of musicians.
Though Where The Angels fall remains their lowest-charting record to date, critical response was solid, with the band’s latest era seeing them approach their music-making process with the same level of progression and confidence that has followed throughout their career.
