Did You Catch This Muso In ‘The Book Of Boba Fett’?

Bass wizard Thundercat has made his acting debut, in the Star Wars universe no less.

The prolific US muso, who got his start with punk icons Suicidal Tendencies, is widely known for his contributions to Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy-winning track These Walls.

His most recent studio album, 2020’s It Is What It Is, also won a Grammy, claiming Best Progressive R&B Album.

Thundercat’s first acting credit comes thanks to Disney+ series The Book Of Boba Fett, specifically in this week’s episode, Chapter 4 - The Gathering Storm, as a body-modification artist simply known as Modifier:

As Stereogum notes, "Thundercat shows up early in the newest episode, and his scene is pretty short. He only gets a few lines of dialogue, and most of his scene is just a montage of him going to work, operating on an injured person."
