There's going to be one hell of a party

More The Bennies More The Bennies

Aussie partystarters The Bennies have scored their first ever ARIA Albums Chart entry, with new record Wisdom Machine charting at #40 this week.

Currently touring the album around the country, their third full length - which was named our Album Of The Week - follows extensive international touring that saw Paper & Plastic pick it up for release in the UK and US.

The Bennies checked in with us from the road earlier today - the crazy, party-fuelled content of which you can check out here.

There were no doubts as to who would claim #1 on this week’s ARIA Albums Chart race, with the honours officially going to former-One Direction singer Zayn Malik, for his new record, Mind Of Mine.

It seems the UK artist – who performs simply as Zayn - broke away from his former boy band and released his new album at the perfect time, keeping the momentum up with Pillowtalk shortly after he left, which saw immediate success and garnered hype around the LP. He also debuted at #1 over on the UK charts.

In a not-so-surprising movement from another pop superstar, Adele’s 25 has moved up eight places to claim #2 with the Molly soundtrack and Hilltop HoodsDrinking From The Sun, Walking Under Stars Restrung holding strong at #3 and #5 respectively.

UK metalcore outfit Asking Alexandria were the only other band with a debut that posed a threat to Zayn, according to mid-week figures, but their new album, The Black, has debuted at #4.

After claiming their first-ever #1 last week, Aussie favourites Violent Soho remain in the top 10, with WACO now sitting at #6.

Aussie artist Matt Corby also remains in the top 10 with his debut record, Telluric, dropping down from second place to #8, after it debuted in first place two weeks ago.

Birdy rounds out the top ten with Beautiful Lies debuting at #10 and other debuts include Swedish death metal band Amon Amarth at #15 with new album Jomsviking, Joe Bonamassa’s Blues Of Desperation (#17), and PlanetshakersMomentum (Live In Manila).

On the singles chart, Lukas Graham tie a record for the longest running number one by a Danish artist in the ARIA charts — in its seventh week at the top, 7 Years ties with Aqua's Doctor Jones.
