Beloved propaganda rock outfit The Beards are back, and more bearded than ever.
After two electrifying sets at this years Bluesfest, the legendary Australian four-piece announced a run of capital city appearances this year, several of which sold out in a matter of days. Lucky for us, The Beards have announced extra shows for Brisbane,
Melbourne and Adelaide.
“It's good to know that people are still enthusiastic about beards,” frontman Johann Beardraven stated ahead of the announcement.
Extra shows will be taking place at Brisbane’s The Triffid, Melbourne’s Corner Hotel, and Adelaide’s The Gov. The Adelaide show is occurring on Father’s Day and will be a delightful all-ages affair.
“This will be a good opportunity for us to indoctrinate the next generation with our fiercely pro-beard dogma,” says bassist Nathaniel Beard.

“Young minds are fertile ground in which to sow the seeds of extreme beard-appreciation, and we're thrilled to be able to bring our message to both the initiated and people who weren't even born when we stopped touring in 2016.”
