Melbourne rockers The Basics have announced a run of national and regional dates in support of their latest album for this October.

The fourth record from the trio, The Age Of Entitlement, dropped last week and is their first in since 2009, following last year’s The Lucky Country EP.

Going from a relatively inactive six years to releasing a record with an impressive run of dates in support is definitely good news for fans.

Wally De Backer, aka Gotye, Kris Schroeder and Tim Heath are The Basics and their album tour kicks off Saturday 10 October at Elsewhere Festival in Maitland before hitting a couple of other festivals and pubs/clubs around the country.
