The AngelsAussie rock mainstays The Angels are readying up to release a brand new album early next year and have confirmed plans to take the material out on the road for an extensive set of shows.
Talk The Talk is their first release since their comeback record from a couple of years ago, Take It To The Streets and was put together over the course of the band's 2013 touring commitments. It's also their second LP with Dave Gleeson at the helm, who has the luxury of hearing the album as both a member and fan.
“Talk The Talk is a great album,” Gleeson said. “I feel like I can say that because in some ways, I still get to have an outsider's perspective… but from the inside."
The Angels will hit the road next January on a run that will see them perform through to the end of March, including their headline appearances at The Red Hot Summer Tour along with Suzi Quatro and The Black Sorrows. Check out theGuide for all the details.
Talk The Talk will be released on Friday 17 January through Liberation. The title track is available digitally today.
