UK-bred indie poster boys The 1975 have announced the addition of another show to their forthcoming Aussie tour early next year, with Melbourne's planned appearance at Festival Hall being the first to hit sold-out status today.

With Auckland and Sydney quickly looking to follow suit, the new show will be a welcome addition for southern-based fans of the Girls hit-makers, and will hit Adelaide's Thebarton Theatre on Saturday, January 10, for the band's first appearance in the city since their Big Day Out slot at the start of the year.

Tickets will go up for grabs from next Friday, September 5, at 9am local time.

Eligible folks for the requisite pre-sale (you can get eligible by signing up at Secret Sounds) will have their crack a little earler, from 9am local time on Tuesday, September 2.
