Tex Perkins was forced to take multiple breaks from a show in Sydney this past weekend due to illness.
Performing at Taronga Zoo for a Tex, Don & Charlie gig, the Aussie artist was upfront about his condition, telling the audience, "Ladies and gentlemen, I'm crook, but luckily this is music that suits being crook".
The Music was at the Saturday night concert, with reviewer Ross Clelland noting that Perkins left the stage multiple times throughout the show.
The review reads, "'You can do it, Tex!' someone unwisely barracked from the grassy slopes. 'I am fucking doing it…' he growled back…"
Perkins did however manage to get through the full performance (and nailed it, mind you).
