Whether it’s covering Johnny Cash or with The Dark Horses, Tex Perkins plans on taking his whiskey-infused pub-rock to the Blues at Bridgetown festival in November this year.
Designed to be a ‘highlight’ performance, Tex will include a repertoire from The Beasts Of Bourbon, The Cruel Sea, Don & Charlie and his other solo/group jams.
Blues At Bridgetown is WA’s longest running not-for-profit roots festival, and from November 11 – 13 it plans on arousing a renaissance of blues and rhythm energy.
Off the back of Chris Caine’s energetic promised set, Tex and the other burgeoning acts are welcomed to Blues At Bridgetown line-up.
Treasured New Orleans musician Eugene Hideaway Bridges plans on returning to Bridgetown to promote his latest album Hold On A Little Bit Longer.
The Fumes will visit and bring their gruffest country songs from New South Wales, while Lightning Jack & Reasonable Doubt (WA), Bret Mosley (USA/AU), Across The Tracks Dectet (WA) and masses more will fill the days with good ol’ Aussie jams.
Festival tickets are now on sale at the Blues At Bridgetown website.
