Taylor Swift & The 1975's Matty Healy Fuel Dating Rumours

Two weeks ago, Taylor Swift and The 1975 vocalist Matty Healy sparked dating rumours after an insider at The Sun revealed the pair began seeing each other two months ago.

“She and Matty are madly in love. It’s super-early days, but it feels right,” the source said.

“Both Matty and Taylor have been touring over the past few weeks, so it’s been a lot of Face-Timing and texting but she cannot wait to see him again.

"But as two international megastars, they understand the pressures of one another’s jobs better than anyone and are incredibly supportive of their respective careers.

“They are both massively proud and excited about this relationship and, unlike Taylor’s last one — which was very much kept out of the spotlight, deliberately — she wants to ‘own’ this romance, and not hide it away. 

“Taylor just wants to live her life, and be happy. She’s told pals Matty is flying to Nashville over the weekend to support her on the next leg of her tour.”

Healy did appear at Swift’s Nashville dates, playing the guitar for the Anti-Hero singer’s support act, Phoebe Bridgers.

Now, the rumour mill has started churning again, with the two recently spotted leaving her party on one occasion and exiting Electric Lady Studios together on another.

Yesterday (Tuesday, 16 May), the two left the New York City recording studio, Electric Lady, in the early hours of the morning. Hours before, Healy was seen leaving Swift’s apartment. Billboard reports that Swift and Healy were photographed while holding hands a few days ago.

As the pair departed Electric Lady Studios, Healy was sighted with his hand on Swift’s lower back as they entered a car together.

In other Taylor Swift news, it appears that the pop music superstar is preparing to announce her return to Australia very soon.

Earlier this month, reports surfaced that the Eras Australian tour – rumoured to take place early next year – will be very short, only stopping in Sydney and Melbourne.

Meanwhile, Matty Healy admitted that he is the Flushed Away rat when The 1975 recently stopped in Brisbane.
