Taylor Swift & Niall Horan Set To Take Over The ARIA Charts This Week

Check out the midweek figures.

The ARIA charts are set to be dominated by a string of global heavyweights this week, with Taylor Swift and Niall Horan primed to top the Singles and Albums charts respectively.

According to midweek figures, Horan's debut LP Flicker is the favourite for #1 on the Albums list, but it will have to beat out fellow pop star P!nk, who topped the chart last week with Beautiful Trauma.

While the #1 spot looks to be a two-horse race, US heavy metal outfit Trivium could crack the top five with their eighth studio album, The Sin & The Sentence.

Expect to also see Chris Young's Losing Sleep and Darius Rucker's When Was The Last Time debut in the top 30.

Meanwhile, Swift's new track Gorgeous, the latest single lifted from her highly-anticipated sixth LP, Reputation, is expected to debut in the top five and contend for top spot against Post Malone's Rockstar (ft. 21 Savage), which is gunning for five weeks straight at #1.

Also debuting on the Singles chart this week is US hip hop artist NF's Let You Down, which should land in the top 50.
