Tasmania’s New Year’s music festival, Great Escape, has expanded its already huge line-up with another artist announcement.

Bands and artists such as Teen Jesus And The Jean Teasers, Annie Hamilton, Chase City, BOCCE, Liam Johnston, and others will head to the stunning bushland of Redbanks Nugent and ring in the New Year.

Great Escape is Tasmania's newest outdoor music festival. The fun begins on Monday, 29 December, and continues to Thursday, 1 January 2026. Newly announced acts Teen Jesus and The Jean Teasers, BOCCE, and Backyard Business will perform on Monday, which the festival deems “Day Zero.”

Punters will need a Day Zero ticket to see the acts mentioned above perform alongside Teenage Dads, The Tullamarines, and Godlands, each playing exclusively on Monday, 29 December.

Day Zero tickets expand concertgoers’ experience to a three-day festival, while general admission tickets get punters access for two days. To find out more and secure your ticket, head to the Great Escape Camping Music Festival website.

The just-announced acts join a line-up headlined by WA indie rockers Spacey Jane, Sydney pop rock group Lime Cordiale, and dance music icons The Presets—performing a DJ set—plus performances from Thelma Plum, San Cisco, Hockey Dad, The Buoys, Dear Seattle, Jack River, Pacific Avenue, and Teenage Dads.

Other names featuring on the line-up include Blusher, Maddy Jane, Fool Nelson, The Tullamarines, Bec Sandridge, and more. Check out the bill below.

In addition to live music, Great Escape festival—presented by triple j—is a BYO event and will also feature licensed bars, morning yoga, a chill-out area, free camping, and late-night DJs.
