Portuguese label Enchufada are an influential label breaking the conventions of electronic dance music, so we're stoked to present them on our radio show.

Eradicating the parameters of conventional dance music, Portugal's Enchufada is widening the ears of the penchant with their open-invitation to global electronica.

A label birthed from the rhythmic virus of the Kuduro namesake, Buraka Som Siesta founding members João "Branko" Barbosa and Kalaf Angelo brought the Lusophone label to life in 2006 as a result of a need to expose the electronic music climate to their mission; that being the openness of developing a similarity to the uptempo, energetic resonance with global dance music in a sense to welcome punters with an open mind and an open heart.

As a result, the Hard Ass Sessions EP series came to fruition, soon developing into an influential club residency at the iconic Lux in Lisbon - the same town in which Enchufada was born. Evolving into the curation of festival stage takeovers and world renown tours, the entity has perpetuated into an influential brand on a global scale; dropping releases from the likes of AstronomarT.WILLIAMSDamaiaATLASFizzyCityboy and Changa Letal - to name a few.
