Organisers will reschedule shows for each performer.
Despite boasting hip hop heavyweight Talib Kweli and strong up and comers Homeboy Sandman and Trademark 'Da Skydiver, the 2013 instalment of the Rap City festival has been cancelled, Faster Louder have reported.
The festival was set to hit capital cities across the country, beginning in early-October, but ticketing sites have the events listed as cancelled.
A statement was issued this afternoon, saying that organisers were looking to book individual tours for each of the three acts on the bill.
"The promoters of Rap City regret to announce that Rap City 2013 will not be going ahead over the October Labour Day long weekend, due to unforseen complications with scheduling that were beyond control. However, in the coming weeks Australian solo dates for Talib Kweli, Homeboy Sandman and Trademark Da Skydiver will be announced.

The cancellation follows on from the cancellation of the Movement Festival, the postponement of Supafest and a series of other hip hop events being scrapped after being announced this year.
