After rife speculation, the festival's 2013 plans have been revealed.

Dwayne Cross, organiser of Supafest, one of the country's biggest urban events, has this afternoon announced it will be postponed until November.

The festival, which features the likes of 50 Cent, T.I., J Cole, NeYo and Akon, was set to start in Perth this time next week, but a statement today confirmed speculation that the event was having difficulty completing the contracts for Brisbane and Melbourne legs of the festival.

The festival will be pushed to November with all current tickets still valid. There is no word on what the line up will look like, but today's statement said "Chase Records is optimistic that all artists currently promoted on the bill will be available and willing to be part of Supafest 4 in November".

Dates and venues are still to be announced.
