Australia seems to have something of a Sugar Man craving

Australia's apparently unwhettable appetite for Detroit-bred guitar guru Rodriguez continues with voraciousness following this morning's earlier announcement of an additional show in Perth, as both Melbourne and Sydney step up to add third appearances on the venerated muso's forthcoming Aussie tour.

The Cold Fact (1969) and Coming From Reality (1971) album-maker will now additionally take to the stage at Melbourne's Palais Theatre on Sunday, November 2, with his newest show in Sydney going down two days later, on November 4, at the State Theatre.

The original appearances in Sydney and Melbourne sold out quickly, and even follow-up sets couldn't totally meet southerners' demand to see the Sugar Man in person; hence the new performances. Tickets for both will go on sale from 1pm on Monday, September 1, via Ticketmaster.
