'It’s Alright, Look at Me I’m Young' drops in November.
Sydney artist Eddie Boyd aka Boydos has announced the details of his debut album and a string of shows.
It's Alright, Look at Me I’m Young was recorded in New Zealand with Ben Edwards as producer (who has previously worked with Marlon Williams, Julia Jacklin and more) and is set to drop in early-November, with the eponymous first single out this week.
"In the music industry you have a preoccupation with your age and of running out of time," Boyd shares of the track.
"Thirty seems like a deadline, even though that’s irrational because many people don’t ‘make it’ till later. It just feels like everyone’s in a desperate rush to achieve – and to do it first."
In celebration of single, Boyd will be kicking off a run of shows at Golden Age Cinema in Sydney on 20 July. He'll then head to The Retreat in Melbourne, Franks in Thirroul and The Station Bar in Katoomba throughout August.
