Sydney/Eora Has A New Boiler Room, Scheduled For October

Pre-sale signups are available now...

Earlier this month, we reported on new, Bizarro hosted music festival, Mode which is set to takeover Cockatoo Island on October the 15th.

The festival has slowly started to tease out new line up and curation rumours, with a pair of acts confirmed for the festival and some huge, live stream news.

They've announced that Priori will be performing live, delivering his recent body of work Your Own Power and his famous back catalogue to the warehouse space. They've also confirmed the performance of UK's very own Djrum, who has over a decade of electronic music experiences, fusing genres from jazz, hip hop and dubstep to ambient and techno.

Finally, they've announced that iconic online live streaming services Boiler Room, will be broadcasting a stage of the venue. No artists that will be performing on the Boiler Room stage have been announced and we can't wait to see what we have in place. The teaser video for the Boiler Room however did feature a track from Montreal based Maara.

Set on a grand industrial estate, the festival will present electronic music on a scale rarely seen on so called Australian soil, with massive production, including a huge audio build that is tailer made for the venue as well as elite visual art.

The stages of the festival will be surrounded by sandstone walls and long unused machinery, setting a brutalist backdrop for distinct performances.
