File in-between: Frank Ocean and Metronomy
Universal Music Publishing Australia are proud to announce producer Thief as the latest addition to the group's family.
The singer-songwriter is the creation of PJ Wolf, a Sydney-based electronic musician with a few accolades under his belt like the triple j Song Award and being shortlisted for the prestigious Vanda & Young songwriting competition for the track Closer.
UMPA's VP Arwen Curson says, "I knew I wanted to sign Thief after the first minute of my first listen so I’m absolutely delighted to have him join the UMP family! He is an exceptional, world-class talent who has a long and fruitful career ahead of him as an artist and writer.. We’re very excited to be a part of that!"
The news comes off the back of a writing trip working alongside artists and writers like Chromeo, Mitch Allen (Jason Derulo, Kelly Clarkson) and Jimmy Harry (Kylie Minogue, Kelly Clarkson) to name a few.
