Featuring Diesel, Chris Cain, Chase The Sun and more
Sydney Blues & Roots Festival have pulled out all stops for their eighth iteration this year, making the storied festival by and large a free event in 2016.
Returning to historic Windsor in October, organisers have revealed a stellar line-up of acts, led by multiple ARIA-winning muso Diesel, American jazz/blues guitarist Chris Cain, Stars featuring their original members Mick Pealing, Mal Eastick, Roger McLachlan and Glyn Dowding for the first time in 35 years and heaps more.
Nearly 60 other acts have been slated in for the four-day festival too, allowing punters to purchase a VIP Card for the first time, giving you tickets to shows and the Blues Awards night, massive discounts on ticketed events, a year's subscription to Rhythms Magazine and more.
Ticketed events will be held at the Windsor Function Centre and the Blues Cruise on the Hawkesbury Paddlewheeler, but shows at the Hawkesbury Hotel, Bowling Club and Windsor Public School will be free.
