Brisbane-based First Nations singer, songwriter, and producer (and your favourite artist’s favourite artist) Sycco (aka Sash McLeod) is taking her new album, Zorb, on the road in early 2025.
Zorb, which is already undoubtedly a summer album, was released last month to critical acclaim and fanfare with its hyper-pop, indie rock, and energetic presentation. Today, Sycco has announced her first headline tour of Australia since 2022.
The tour will follow her upcoming performances at Beyond The Valley and Spilt Milk’s House Party festivals. She begins the run at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on Friday, 24 January, before performing at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory the following night, a hometown show at Brisbane’s The Triffid on Friday, 31 January, and ends the run at Adelaide’s Jive on Saturday, 1 February.
Tickets to Sycco’s upcoming In The Zorb tour go on sale tomorrow at 10 am local time via the singer’s website.
Later this year, Sycco will perform at Victoria’s New Year’s festival, Beyond The Valley (28 December – 1 January 2025), and at multiple locations for Spilt Milk’s House Party series.
The House Party series will take over Perth’s Kings Park & Botanic Garden on Sunday, 17 November, Broadwater Parklands at the Gold Coast on Saturday, 23 November, and at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre on Sunday, 24 November.
