The Queen of Rock leads some legendary Aussies
Organisers of massive festival The Red Hot Summer Tour have built on the event's already growing reputation by unleashing the sweet 2014 lineup of legendary rockers set to explode into regional centres around the country.
Five massive acts lead the tour combining both international expertise and homegrown legends, the event brags performances from the one-and-only American rock goddess Suzi Quatro, joined by Aussie household names The Angels, The Black Sorrows, Shannon Noll and the “real thing” Russell Morris.
Kicking off in January next year, The Red Hot Summer Tour celebrates a true rock experience, with fans coming from all over the country to experience the event that festival organisers believe will be a sure-fire sell-out.
The tour hits 10 regional towns across Australia, beginning in Port Lincoln, South Australia and finishes at Queensland's Jacobs Well mid-February.
Tickets start from $79.90 and will go on sale 9am, Wednesday 18 September.
The undisputed international Queen of Rock, Suzi Quatro's decade-long career snapshots selling out a solo rock show for many years, hosting her own BBC Radio show, performing on the West End, penning smash hit tunes and selling over 55 million records. As no stranger to Aussie shores, Quatrowill return armed with her popular offerings The Wild One, Devil Gate Drive and If You Can't Give Me Love, to name a few.
Almost four decades since Rick and John Brewster formed The Angels, the iconic band have written some of this country's most well-known tunes Am I Ever Gonna To See Your Face Again? And We Gotta Get Out Of This Place. Fronted now by Screaming Jets figurehead Dave Gleeson, The Angels are ready to share their popular tracks as well as a whole new repertoire – including offerings from a record released last year.
