The pop culture con's Sydney and Perth legs get a little stronger

It's a good time to be a pop culture fan in Australia, with both Oz Comic-Con and its chief rival Supanova Pop Culture Expo continuing to put on increasingly better events with increasingly higher-profile guest lists (Alien actors, Hodor).

For Supanova's part, following up its recent announcement that Game Of Thrones' Jaime Lannister Nikolaj Coster-Waldau would be joining the line-up for the upcoming Sydney and Perth instalments of the year's six conventions, it has now announced that he will be joined by Jamie Bamber (Apollo from Battlestar Galactica) and Olivia Olson, the voice of Adventure Time's Marceline the Vampire Queen.

Bamber is lesser-known for his work on Law & Order: UK, mostly because did you even know there was a Law & Order: UK? Olson, a former child actress who rose to prominence with a role in Love, Actually, also stars on kid-show favourite Phineas and Ferb.

Sydney's convention will run from June 13-15, while Perth's happens June 21-22. The guest list is headed by Stan Lee, who at 91 years old will be fittingly using the convention to complete his final visit to Australia.

A full rundown of guests is available at Supanova's website, on which you can also find further information regarding venues and ticketing.
