Nooooo!

Wildly popular Netflix original Stranger Things has been — unsurprisingly — picked up for Season 2, Netflix have confirmed.

The '80s sci-fi hit's second season will feature nine episodes, with a video released teasing its episode titles. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, co-creators Matt and Ross Duffer explained the new season would pick up essentially where we left off — "For us, there’s still more story here [in the 1980s], there’s still things that are unresolved."

Our favourite pre-teens Mike (Finn Woldhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) and more will return, though the Duffer Brothers say, "We don’t know about Eleven. We leave that up in the air."

The show will now take place in the fall of 1984 and will "venture a little bit outside of Hawkins" with more exploration of the Upside Down and the Department Of Energy, too.
